Brent Woods, MA, LPC, CSAT
I started Woods Counseling Services because I have a passion for helping others. Ever since I was a young child, I've gone above and beyond to help anyone in need. Others have told me over and over again that I have a "kind and caring soul", and would give anything to help someone in need. I truly believe in the work that I do every day, and have seen lives changed as a result. Ive worked many "jobs" in the past, but none have compared in relation to my passion for counseling.
I also began a journey in 2016 to become a certified sex addiction therapist. There is such a need in SWLA for this type of therapy, and it is not something that is offered by any other therapist locally. I offer services for men and women struggling with sex and pornography addiction, and also work with partners and spouses of sex addicts to conquer betrayal trauma.
I encourage you to reach out. Whatever your struggle or area of need, I will do what I can to help in your situation. I thoroughly believe in my life, as do I for yours that THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

I am currently in school in pursuit of my Bachelors degree of Science in Psychology with a minor of Family Studies. After obtaining my Bachelors degree, I plan to start working towards my Masters degree in Social Work in hopes to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. My role here at Woods Counseling Services is to assist Brent in meeting our clients' needs. I take care of scheduling, billing, and insurance needs as well as general assistance around the office. I genuinely care about each and every one of our clients and am honored to be a part of the Woods Counseling Services team.
